A Journey Through Wine and Poetry.
An Oenogastronomic Experience by the Sea
In the heart of the Costa dei Trabocchi, suspended between sky and sea, Trabocco Turchino enchants visitors and wine lovers alike with its timeless beauty and remarkable story. This historic fishing machine, immortalized by Gabriele D’Annunzio in The Triumph of Death, stands today not only as a symbol of Abruzzo, but also as the evocative setting for a truly unique food and wine experience.
Trabocco Turchino: Preservation and Enhancement
The restoration of Trabocco Turchino was made possible through the combined efforts of the local administration, the community, and partners such as FAI – Fondo Ambiente Italiano.
Today, the Trabocco is open to the public for guided tours and cultural activities, and can also be reserved for private events, weddings, conferences, and photo shoots — a true symbol of rebirth and preservation of the region’s heritage..
Colle Moro and the Land: A Lasting Commitment
With over 60 years of history, Colle Moro has always believed in the value of its land — promoting it through its wines and supporting initiatives that celebrate the region’s culture and traditions.
A deep respect for the land, dedication to quality, and the enhancement of local excellence are the guiding principles of the winery — values that find their highest expression in the collaboration with Trabocco Turchino.
